BMG 1+ Project
BMG1+ is an artistic and educational initiative that creates an ad hoc band, designed to give young musicians the experience of playing within a large ensemble. During the program, participants fully integrate with the members of the Getafe Band of Music, creating a space for generational exchange where technical experience merges with the fresh perspectives of new voices. More than just a collaboration, it is a complete immersion: from rehearsals and sectional work to the intensity of the concerts, the participants become an active part of our season. In BMG1+, every young musician is, quite simply, one of us.
Conducting Workshop
The true growth of a band isn’t measured solely on the concert stage, but in what happens during every single minute of rehearsal. That is the space where individual ideas transform into a shared sound, and where a conductor’s ability to communicate, plan, and execute defines the final result.
